JUBALation!

Gabrielle

I started playing the harp when I was 8.  God has blessed and taught me through the years with music, (JUBALation being no exception) and I am sincerely grateful.  I have always loved music, and in JUBALation I get to play and sing, two of my favorite musical expressions.  We have all become very close through fun, laughter and even difficulties, and I hope to continue doing this for years to come.

I first started to play the violin when I was 8 or 9. Since then God has opened incredible opportunities in my life. I’ve had a lot of fun working with JUBALation. It’s been great getting to form new relationships with everyone and I’ve gained friends I will treasure for a lifetime.

I first started playing the fiddle when I was five. I have been playing for almost ten years and I have learned so much since then. I love playing in JUBALation and I am learning a lot. I enjoy using the gifts God has given me to worship Him. In addition to the fiddle, I also play the hammered dulcimer, dobro, and mandolin. It is always fun to perform, and I love seeing the smiles on people's faces as we play.

I started playing the harp when I was six years old and I have been playing for almost eight years. I have been playing banjo for almost two years. Bluegrass and Celtic are two of my favorite kinds of music. I love playing music with my friends, and at the same time, bringing joy to others, and praise to God. I thank God for the talents He has given me and for the opportunities God has given me to share my music.

When I first learned how to play the harp, I never thought I’d get to do something like this! Being home schooled has rewards, and this is certainly one of them. When you’re really tired, singing off-key, needing 3 people to tune 1 harp, or losing your balance during a performance… laughing is definitely one of the best medicines around.
